Say it ain’t so, ABC. On October 4th this year our beloved series ‘Lost’ will pick up where it left off last season.
My burning questions:
Did Mr. Eko and Locke survive the explosion at the hatch? Why the heck didn’t Charlie say anything about it to Claire? And how will Jack, Kate and Sawyer escape from the Others? Will Hurley pick up a candy bar on his way back?
Hopefully in the short span of 6 weeks it will be airing this year, we will get all the answers. Because after those 6 weeks, Lost will literally go pffft until February 2007. It’s all part of a strategy, ABC explains. The network conceded Lost was a difficult series to produce and needed more time to complete. Could it simply just be a conflict of schedule for the show’s creator and $60 million man, J.J. Abrams? Abrams has two other shows under his belt this season and has some dealings to iron out with Warner Brothers and Paramount. It’s sad to think that ‘Lost’ might have been crossed out of his agenda because of that. I absolutely love this show, but I guess the best I can do is wait for Abrams to clear up his calendar. Sigh.
I hope that season 3 is really a good one so that it’s really worth the wait.
